Jack Knopf passed away March 26, 2010

I had a dream to make Spinning Wheels in 1996 at a reasonable price so more persons could enjoy spinning fibers into yarn to make many different projects.  I decided to use PVC and a wheel chair wheel to make the cost much less than wood.  Then I needed a flyer that looked professional and worked good.  I asked my friend Nancy Knuepfer if she knew anyone who works with wood and she said she had a friend who could do just that.  That started my friendship with Jack.  I took my dream to Jack and asked for a quote.  I liked what he quoted and we got started making spinning wheels with Jack supplying the flyers.  The first two orders went to Palmer Alaska then all over the United States and then the internet helped bring orders from all over the world.
