I just wanted to follow up with you and let you know I L-O-V-E my skein winder!  It took me the first run to get used to it, and then my skein-winding just zipped on by.  This is going to help my production immensely.  It took me about 2.5-3 hours to wind 12 cones (split in half to make 24 skeins) of thread instead of 3 days.  The totalizer option is also well worth the extra money.  I am glad I bought that at the same time instead of waiting.  Skeining has now dropped off the #1 spot of my most dreaded part of the dyeing process (hand rinsing has replaced it...lol).  I was actually able to skein and dye all in the same weekend. 

 

I am very pleased with my purchase so far, and I am sure it will get a lot of use.
