Take everything out of box and put on a table.

Put base in front of you with motor on right side.

Put brake into position as shown in picture 1.

Put flyer with one of the standard bobbin into position and pull the brake Velcro  hooks and attach to the Velcro loops on the base.  See picture 4.

Raise drive band up and put it on motor first then on the whorl of the bobbin as you line up motor and bobbin whorl. See picture 2. This is the position for spinning Z to the right.  Look from top or the side to be sure drive band is lined up.

Attach the correct plug to motor and plug controller in a 110 volt circuit.

Position controller so you are comfortable and try it to make sure you have it lined up and working okay. Practice controlling the speed of the bobbin.

To ply put on the large ply bobbin. Move motor to left side of the flyer and put on drive band being sure it lined up.  Look from top or the side to be sure drive band is lined up.  See figure 3. This is spinning S for plying to the left so that you do not take the twist out of the yarn.

Picture 4 shows the correct position of the brake.
