1. Square ends off with scissor or knife.

2. Use a burning candle, holding an end of drive band in each hand about 1/4" from the end, hold it to the flame until it just starts burning.

3. Quickly push the ends together so the soften material form like pancake. Hold this for 20 seconds or more.

4. Let dry for 10 minutes.

5. Trim the pancake off with a finger nail clipper
