Babe's Bulk Production Double Treadle with Delta Flyer

1. Take all the parts out of box and put on the floor.

2. Study picture.

3. Put the base on floor.

4. Put long pipe on the tee in the center and put the screw in at the tee.  You might have to turn the part end for end before you get the hole lined up for the screw.

5. Put the wheel with the main shaft in place.  The label for Babe's Fiber Garden should be to the top.

6. Put the 3 screws in the base of the main shaft.

7. Put the treadles in place with the eyebolts on the outside of the eye bolts of the base and feed the holding rod through the eye holes starting from the right side.  When the holding rod is through all the eye bolts snap the bent end down in front of the small screw.

8. Put the maiden on the center pipe and main shaft and put in the two screws to hold it in place.

9. Put on the flyer by putting a bobbin with Babe Aid (black 3/8" round dot of Velcro) away from you. Then put on the whorl with the wood lug going into the bobbin.  Next insert the flyer into the maiden being sure the leather brake in over the top of the brass tube. 

10. Secure the flyer with the 3/4" collar and quick disconnect pin.  Need the rubber band to keep the ring from making noise.

11. Oil the bearing of the bobbins, whorl and maiden.

12. Read Babe's Function Information and Babe's Spinning Booklet before calling for help.

13. You are now ready to start spinning.

14. Have fun spinning fibers into yarn.
