Foot Controller

To use as a regular foot controller be sure the switch is turned on and that the wing nut is loose, and then use the foot controller by controlling the speed with your foot.  By screwing the wing nut down you can set it for the speed you always want to go and turn off the switch.  To use again just turn on the switch and start spinning.  If going very slow you might have to give the pedal a push with you foot to get it started.

Hand Controller

To use on a table or your lap.  Turn on the switch and turn down the wing nut to get running.  Then start spinning your yarn.  You can speed it up by turning the wing nut down and slow it up by turning it up.  If you are going very slow you might have to push the pedal down a ways to get it started.  When you are going stop use your left hand to hold the twist while you turn it off.
