Babe's 1 to 4 Skeins Skein Winder/Yarnblocker

    New Style

This is a 2 yard Multi-Purpose 1 to 4 skeins Skein Winder/Blocker.  When you are ready to take the skeins off just pull the pins and will release the skeins so  you can take them off easily.

Assembly Instructions for new style

1. Take parts out of box and put on the floor.  Study the picture.  You can see a larger picture on the Website under Assembly instructions.

2. Assemble the long pipe that have the eye screws and the one small screw at one end to one end of the base with the small screw being on the left.

3. Assemble the other long tube to the same base part and put the right end of the base on the ends of the long tubes.  Carefully pound the ends all the way on the long tubes and adjust flat on a table.

4. Put the brass axle on the axle support with the turning handle on the left.

5. Put the cross fitting on the axle that has the ends that have elbows on them and put the other cross on the axle.

6. Next take the pipe that has a tee at each end and put it on the tubes that have all the adjusting holes and put in a safety pin in each tee to hold it in place.  The L should be on the left side.

7. Assemble the 3 remaining tubes by putting one end into an elbow and connect the other end to the matching tube.

8. Take the drum off and pound all the ends to be sure all the fitting are connected all the way.

9. Put drum back on axle and put in the bolt with larger washer through the clip making sure the washer are on the outside of the clip, then the fitting and put on the wing nut tight.

10. Put on the drive band and hang the motor on the left.  Put the drive band on the pulley of the motor and then on the cup hooks.

11. Attach the foot controller and test run slowly.  Never run very fast until you have yarn on it.

12. OIL THE BEARING ( the PVC holes ) WHERE THE AXLE TURNS

13. Use the black Babe Aids to attach your yarn to the SW.
